Structural Welder / Fabricator (Steel & Aluminum) – Jacksonville, FL

Ad-Vance Talent Solutions is currently hiring experienced Structural Welders / Fabricators in Jacksonville, FL.

Pay: $20 – $35 per hour (based on experience & weld test)
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Must pass pre-employment drug screen + participate in random testing (Drug-Free Workplace)
Full-Time | Immediate openings available

Job Overview:  We are seeking skilled structural welders and fabricators with strong blueprint reading ability and hands-on experience in steel and aluminum fabrication.

This is not entry-level work . Candidates should be able to work independently, perform accurate layout and fit-up, and produce high-quality welds to specification.

You will fabricate and weld structural components such as frames, columns, struts, pile assemblies, and gangways.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication prints
• Lay out, fit, and weld structural steel and aluminum components
• Perform TIG and MIG welding (including aluminum spool gun)
• Weld in 3G, 4G, and 6G positions
• Fabricate and assemble structural weldments and assemblies
• Perform accurate measurements, layout, and angle calculations
• Use hand and power tools (grinders, drills, saws, etc.)
• Tack, clamp, bolt, and weld assemblies to specification
• Inspect finished work for accuracy and quality
• Perform repairs, modifications, and rework as needed
• Operate forklift when required
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain clean work practices

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of structural welding/fabrication experience required
• Strong ability to read blueprints and fabricate from drawings
• Experience with MIG, TIG, and aluminum spool gun welding preferred
• Comfortable welding in multiple positions (3G, 4G, 6G)
• Strong layout, fit-up, and measuring skills (tape measure accuracy required)
• Ability to work independently and maintain quality standards

Preferred (Not Required)

• Welding certification
• Experience in heavy structural fabrication environments
• Multi-process welding experience (steel + aluminum)
