Job Description

Salary: $68,900 - 131,100 per year Requirements:

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is necessary before the start date.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) required, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in developing complex systems and applications using C/C++, Java, Ada, or other object-oriented programming languages.
• Capability to learn and demonstrate proficiency in the Ada programming language.
• Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems is essential.
• Ability to obtain an interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
• Preferred: Active Secret security clearance.
• Preferred: Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles, especially in high-concurrency and distributed systems.
• Preferred: Experience with multithreading, memory management, or performance optimization in complex environments.

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Ada for intricate systems and applications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to outline, design, and execute new features, ensuring system integration and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing code to improve performance and efficiency in complex settings.
• Create and sustain comprehensive documentation for software applications, encompassing system architecture and design specifications.
• Engage in code reviews and uphold adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in emerging technologies relevant to complex systems.
• Occasionally participate in light travel and off-hour testing (2nd or 3rd shift).
