Full Job Description:
First Baptist Church of Nome, Texas is prayerfully seeking a full-time pastor to lead our congregation in spiritual growth, discipleship, and community outreach.
Our church is a loving, Christ-centered body of believers committed to biblical teaching, missions, and living out the Gospel in our community. We adhere to the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message as our statement of beliefs.
We are seeking a Shepherd who is:
• Deeply committed to the authority of Scripture and led by the Holy Spirit.
• Passionate about discipleship and equipping believers to grow in their walk with Christ.
• Dedicated to preaching and teaching God’s Word with clarity and conviction.
• Able to provide compassionate pastoral care and foster unity within the church family.
• Engaged in reaching the local community with the love of Jesus Christ.
Qualifications:
• A clear calling to pastoral ministry.
• Alignment with the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message.
• Ministry and preaching experience preferred.
• Seminary education (completed or in progress) is encouraged.
