Job Description:

We are seeking a full-time CNC Router Operator for custom architectural projects. Duties include the set-up operation and maintenance of CNC machinery. CNC operators utilize CNC machinery to complete custom projects per specified drawings ensuring the scope of work is completed on time on budget with a focus on excellent quality while maintaining a safe working environment.

Job Duties:

• Interpret fabrication drawings bill of materials and work manuals.

• Set up tools per specified programming and cutting requirements

• Adjust machine settings for tool compensations and material types.

• Check completed parts for quality of cut and critical dimensions.

• Identify concerns or problems with current design or manufacturing process.

• Perform daily weekly machine PMs.

Job Qualifications :

• 3-5 years experience using a CNC Router in a woodworking factory.

• Ability to set up and change tools.

• Basic knowledge of G-CODE

• Ability to read and understand shop drawings.

• Ability to meet deadlines budgets and provide quality workmanship.

• Ability to work in a team environment.

• Ability to work between the hours of 9pm to 6am

Required physical strength:

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Frequently.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Occasionally.

• Must be able to assist with team lifting of loads in excess of 50lbs Occasionally.

• Must be able to work on your feet including standing for the entire length of the shift which are up to 10 hours.

• Must be able to work in and around manufacturing and production equipment which includes frequently climbing ladders bending stooping standing walking twisting kneeling and reaching.

• Must be able to see / hear to visually and audibly acknowledge critical safety instructions alarms forklift traffic perform quality inspections and equipment inspections.

• Must be able to sustain repetitive movement of the upper and lower extremities with varying degrees of force.

• Must be able to push pull up to 100 pounds of force on a regular basis including moving pallets carts glass/plastic sheets and boxes using a hand truck or other similar equipment.
