Job Summary
Taylored Restoration Services is seeking reliable and motivated Cleaning Technicians to join our Anchorage team. In this role, you will perform structural and detailed cleaning and contents restoration for residential and commercial properties impacted by disasters such as fire, water, mold, wind, and earthquakes. This position is hands-on, fast-paced, and mission-driven, helping clients recover during some of their most challenging moments.

Key Responsibilities - Inspect, document, and photograph damaged contents and personal property for restoration and insurance purposes
- Pack, transport, and store contents safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of valuable and sentimental items
- Perform cleaning, deodorizing, and restoration techniques to return items to pre-loss condition
- Conduct structural and detailed cleaning of residential and commercial job sites
- Maintain accurate documentation and records using mobile software
- Follow company, safety, and industry standards at all times
- Drive company vehicles to and from job sites (CDL not required)
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Cross-train within the cleaning department as needed
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Strong reliability and punctuality—on-time performance is critical
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and product labels
- Comfortable using mobile devices and software for documentation
- Hardworking, honest, dependable, and safety-focused
- Willingness to learn and pursue IICRC certifications (training provided)
Physical & Environmental Requirements - Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 75+ pounds regularly
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent bending, squatting, crawling, and crouching
- Ability to wear respirators that require a proper facial seal
- Visual acuity for detail-oriented tasks
- Exposure to varying indoor and outdoor environments, including temperature changes
Required Qualifications - Valid driver’s license with no more than 3 infractions in the last 3 years
- Reliable, insured personal transportation (public transportation not sufficient due to on-call requirements)
- Ability to pass drug screening (heroin, amphetamines, cocaine, opiates, phencyclidine)
- Ability to pass background screening (convictions reviewed with HR Director)
- Must reside in or be able to relocate to the Anchorage area within a few weeks
- Restoration industry experience and IICRC certifications preferred, but not required
