Location : Eagan, MN (Hybrid, 2-days per week)
Job Type : Contract (8 Months)
Compensation : $50-$55 per hour W2

About the Role
Our firm is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support Enterprise Analytics for a leading organization in the healthcare and insurance sector. This role will contribute to a high-visibility enterprise initiative focused on developing an affordability dashboard designed to deliver actionable insights, strengthen data-driven decision-making, and guide long-term strategic priorities. You will play a key role in shaping foundational analytics capabilities that inform future initiatives and support organizational performance goals. Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing business needs, developing and supporting workflow automation, and implementing efficient enterprise-level processes. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across business and technical teams to translate needs into clear, actionable requirements. This position also involves conducting detailed research, documenting processes, supporting system enhancements, and ensuring effective project coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand, document, and validate business needs and translate them into actionable requirements.
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify trends, emerging issues, and best practices.
  • Develop, document, and maintain key metrics, leading indicators, and process updates.
  • Analyze, design, develop, test, implement, and enhance reporting solutions and business processes.
  • Coordinate and participate in individual projects, ensuring milestones and deliverables are on schedule.
  • Maintain clear communication on project status, risks, issues, and priorities with project sponsors and leadership.
  • Act as a liaison between internal and external partners to identify opportunities and develop implementation plans.
  • Represent customer and stakeholder needs while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Serve as a senior subject matter expert on relevant content, processes, and procedures.
  • Potentially lead project teams and provide training to junior staff to support project success.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of related professional experience (work experience, education, military service, and transferable skills considered).
  • Advanced collaborative, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
  • Strong decision-making ability grounded in analysis and business needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo and bring new perspectives.
  • Project management experience.
  • Proven ability to work independently with guidance only in highly complex situations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, Visio, or similar software tools.
