About the Job...

Were looking for an Associate Creative Director with an art background who is ready to stop being almost there.

Youre past the part where potential is enough. You believe in your work and youre learning how to make a room believe in it too. You know the difference between a concept that will win in a meeting and an idea youll actually be proud of having made.

You love doing the work yourself and you cant stop. Youre developing the instinct to look at someone elses work and make it better without making it yours. This job is the bridge between having the best ideas every time and being a sherpa for the best ideas even when they didnt come from you.

Youll have CDs who have been where you are and want to help you get to where they are. Youll lead teams. Love teams. Get in fights. Have the best days of your career and some of the hardest ones sometimes on the same day.

Were employee-owned. When you join you have a real stake in what we become. You wont be an employee youll be an owner. If you dont know the difference yet thats ok you will once you walk in the building.

What the role requires:

• 5 years portfolio strong in art direction
• Work that shows a point of view and and a deep commitment to craft
• Some experience leading creative hunger for more
• Comfort executing ideas in any medium
• Four-day work week in the office Monday through Thursday in Portland Maine
